Chloe Lopez-Lee, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow investigating how biological sex affects the brain during aging and disease

How does biological sex shape the brain's responses to disease?
My work strives to parse apart how primary factors of biological sex, such as sex chromosomes and hormones, affect the brain in the presence of aging and Alzheimer's disease.Future investigation will expand to explore the boundaries of sex-biased effects in other dementias, such as vascular dementia.
